IKS 2nd Annual Meeting welcoming ESSKA President Prof Romain Seil discussing the importance of a national society for collaboration and his own innovations in meniscal transplant/repair with autograft tissue.

Prof Romain Seil

Prof. Seil, a Luxembourg-native knee surgeon, serves at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg. His expertise covers sports medicine, knee injuries, and primary and revision knee arthroplasty. He is Co-Director of the Luxembourg Olympic Medical Center and of the IOC-accredited Research Centre ReFORM.
He has authored over 300 publications, co-edited books on knee surgery and sports medicine, and helped establish best practices in ACL reconstruction and meniscal surgery. A co-founder of ESSKA’s Paediatric ACL registry and founding member of its Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics, he also contributes to multiple editorial boards.
